I've been going to this Akira for years now and should of left a review sooner. They are amazing! Im always glad to go in and enjoy the atmosphere, and the food is top notch at an extremely reasonable price. When I was working the girls working there even called and waited for me to pick up my order after they closed! Wonderful people and wonderful food!

If you’re craving sushi that’s fast, fresh, and fun—Akura Sushi delivers. This conveyor-style spot is a whole vibe, with plates gliding by like edible art on parade. The selection is solid, from classic salmon nigiri and spicy tuna rolls to more adventurous bites with torched toppings and crunchy textures. The quality? Surprisingly good for the price. Everything tasted fresh, and you can tell they keep the rotation moving so nothing sits too long. The touch screen ordering system is easy to use if you want something specific made to order, and it comes out lightning fast. The atmosphere is clean and modern, with a chill, casual energy that makes it great for dates, solo meals, or quick bites with friends. Prices are color-coded by plate and totally reasonable, so you can indulge without breaking the bank.

The sushi is pretty fresh and tasty, and there’s a great variety! I also like how all of their sushi is not slathered in spicy mayo like most rotary sushi places I’ve been. Definitely going to be my go-to spots when I’m craving for some quick sushi. Overall, great food, casual clean vibes, and just a great place to eat. 100/10!

They had really great sushi, I thought they had a pretty good variety, both for those who like the sushi that contains raw fish, as well as those who don’t. I also like how they have little displays that come up, that show the type of roll that’s coming up, as well as what’s in it. They also have really good ice cream tempura, which I’d never had, nor had I ever heard of. Some things I didn’t like was that the place seemed a little crowded, and it could be hard to hear at times. Other than that, I thought it was really good!

Loved all the sushi that we tried. My husband and I loved how they gave signs up telling you what the foos is. Their fried calamari was so good! We will be back! We loved the sushi conveyor belt.

Prices were really good for track, 1 cheaper than some spots. I came in at opening, 1/2 the track was full and the other 1/2 was full within 15 mins. I asked for eel sauce and was brought a whole bottle, love that. I love that they put a bottle of spicy mayo at every 3rd seat, and the soy sauce was really good, idk if it was a custom mixture or what. as i walked in, they asked my drink and condiment order and had it there by the time i sat down. very clean, everything fresh, great selection on track. even labeled everything and organized it. I usually judge a track place by the salmon nigiri and they aced it, even at opening it wasnt over chilled. which in my opinion kills the flavor, nice cut. the service was very friendly and attentive. I even feel bad cuz as I walked in they were like singing and havin a good time, then when they saw me, they all got professional.. I appreciate the respect of that even tho i would have liked them to keep having a good time.. I hope this place does well as i dont live close., but I would eat here 2x a week if i did. nice job!!

By far the best track sushi option I’ve been to in Portland. So many options and I love that they have photos of the rolls that you can order that move along the track. Because of this, I ordered things I have never had before because they looked good. The servers were flustered but they were quite busy so I can forgive it. Reasonable prices. Overall it was great and we will go back!

I recently checked out this new sushi spot, and I have to say, for the price, it’s a steal! The customer service was excellent—super friendly and attentive staff who made the experience even better. The highlight for me was the Naruto Roll—a fresh, flavorful combination of tuna, salmon, kani, and avocado, all wrapped in crisp cucumber instead of rice. It was light, refreshing, and packed with great texture and taste. If you're looking for delicious sushi on a budget with top-notch service, this place is a must-try!
